Principals of design undoubtedly have been the most controversial topic within architecture and rightly so.
Designers have held these principals as guideline to perceptive relief since times untold. These principals have somehow always described a global movement in design and often remodeled, modified, added and subtracted from or overlooked to achieve a sense of identity by the designers.
Nonetheless, principals have always survived the shifts in styles since times untold. The very idea of newness in a style is described within the parameters of certain principals (how the idea may have adhered to the principals or on the contrary drifted and explored new dimensions of a principal).
