How InSEED is impacting the administrative apparatus by integration & economic self sustainability.
InSEED has designed a prestigious and coveted project for integration of workspace for all the divisional offices for the Varanasi Division of Govt. Of Uttar Pradesh. Following the vision of Hon. Prime Minister who is also the Member of Parliament from Varanasi, InSEED has visualized the idea of bringing together all the divisional offices in the entire division comprising of three districts. The project area is approximately 60000 SQM and institutes the facilities of Hotel, Commercial / Retail and Corporate Office areas. The retail areas also comprise of splendid food courts and gaming-zones for the public at large in a bid to make the project self-sustainable model.
Government agencies have found that when Lean is implemented, they see an improved understanding of how their own processes work, that it facilitates the quick identification and implementation of improvements and that it builds a culture of continuous improvement. Extending Prime Minister’s idea of “minimum government and maximum governance,” Government has given an impetus to bringing about a change in the work culture and style of governance. For better productivity of the Government, it is always advisable that the inter-departmental coordination should be easy and smooth.
Considering the importance of Varanasi as a city and also as PM’s Constituency, city always remains in lime light where Chief Minister and bureaucrats visits very frequently to get the first hand information about the various ongoing projects taking place in the city. To minimize the travel time & distance and also to increase the productivity of the various divisional offices the project was conceptualize as pilot project in the region.
Based on Hon. Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi’s idea on lean government, the proposed project has been envisaged and propagated by Hon. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath to achieve what he calls a highly efficient work culture. The whole idea was to develop a modern office complex where most of the divisional offices can be accommodated for easy & effective coordination between them and at the same time maximum commercial exploitation of the project so that it becomes a financially self-sustainable project.
