How InSEED Designed The First Shiva Temple In Mexico (OM Namah Shivay)

Written By AT:

The "Trimūrti" (/trɪˈmʊərti/ Sanskrit: त्रिमूर्तिः trimūrti, "three forms") is the Trinity of the supreme God in Hinduism in which the cosmic functions of creation, maintenance, and destruction are personified as a triad of deities, typically Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver, and Shiva the destroyer/ transformer.

Following the divine rules to create the first Hindu Temple (Shiva Mandir) in Mexico, InSEED has driven the collective sentiment of India into global brotherhood.

The temple has been designed for Carlos Alonso Banuet Rios and is being built in Veracruz, Mexico

We feel that what we have been chosen by the Almighty himself to usher her love unto mankind through this project.

The divine rules, followed by our design team saliently outlines the following:

• Plot of the temple should be square or rectangular in shape. The boundaries should be parallel to the respective magnetic directions. This means that the four major directions, east, west, north and south should meet the plot boundaries and not the corner.

• The slope of the land surrounding the temple should be from South to north and west to east. The best slope is from south-west to North-East. Having sea, river etc. in the east or the north direction ensures natural slope in these directions.

• Any fountains or water body should be in the north-east area of the temple complex.

• All the washing area before entering the temple should be in east and all the toilets should be outside the temple complex.

• The height of the main entrance gate should be more than every other door in the temple.

• The colour of the pillars and the flooring of the hall should be white, yellow or light saffron.

• In a SHIV temple different Idols of Gods will be there, but only Lord Hanuman’s idol can face South. Others should not face South.

• There should be open space all around the temple.

• Best suitable location for the temple is either on high hills or places were the population is very low. As a rule the shadow of the temple should not fall on other buildings and such condition is possible only on hills or place located far away from population.

• Gifts, charity or donation boxes should be either in east or north.

• The bell should not be in the sanctuary. It should be at the entrance of the building that surrounds the sanctuary.

• The pillars should either be square, rectangular, octagonal or circular.

• Parking can be done in outside open space in the East or North.

• The temple having four roads on four sides outside the compound wall is very auspicious.

The Form has been derived from the profile of the mandir having a tapered structure with Kalasha at the top.

We wish our patrons “Varanasi Divine Services” and our clients “Carlos Alonso Banuet Rios” the very best of future and a remarkable journey of exploring the Hindu culture.
